Strat-O-Matic North American League

Strat-o-Matic North American League (SOMNAL) is a computer simulation baseball league using only American League players. We started the league in 1987 with a computer game that had 1985 statistics. Our replay seasons are thus played a few years later; we currently run on schedule with a 2-year delay.

DRAFTS

On two occasions, the league faded into inactivity. Both times when the league was revitalized, our first major action was an enormous draft that consisted of eligible draftees from multiple previous seasons. We call those Reconstruction Drafts.
