How to read the chart:
Mel's predictions are listed to
the left, then Chuck's and Phil's. To the right is the win total Mel needs
in order to be more accurate than Chuck, the win total necessary to be
more accurate than Phil, then finally the necessary range in order to be
more accurate than both. For example:

If the Yankees win fewer
than 94 games (<94), Mel will be more accurate than Chuck.

If the Yankees win fewer
than 89 games (<89), Mel will be more accurate than Phil.

The Yankees, therefore,
need to win less than 89 games for Mel to be more accurate than both
Chuck and Phil.
